Assignment to design a wine label, either with an existing brand, or an invented one. I made up 'Blackberry Jaguar' because all the wine names I liked already had nice-looking labels. No point in redesigning something that already looks good. XD

Because of my other illustration projects, I ended up doing this almost entirely in one day. I had a rough drawing, a wine bottle, and a basic Idea of what I wanted to do with it, and about a day. It was rough, finished up at about 4:30 in the morning, having printed the finished label and glued it onto the bottle, which I'd removed of existing labels earlier in the day. Starting with the bottle definately helped with the color scheme, there were several people in the critiqe that had obviously gotten the bottle afterwards. This is actually a slightly edited version, I fixed a few things that had been pointed out in the crit.

Kahlil is going to take some pictures of the assembled wine label for me, so I'll post those, too, when he does.
