Artist's Comments

Third finished Thesis piece. This one was commissioned by Calorath, but he gave me free reign to finish it however I wanted. It was perhaps the most challenging of my thesis pieces to work out compositionally.

The color scheme is a bit more muted than I usually do, but I think I really like it overall.

Mostly Copic Marker, with a little colored pencil.

I really like the colour scheme, too - the muted colours compliment the black kitties, and it keeps the background back even though you have a pink sky meeting a green horizon. I like the little newspaper headline too.

Great concept and illustration! Lovely work.
I think the colours are really successful, as is the movement and energy.
